Alwar, Rajasthan – June 7, 2025: A tragic and shocking case has emerged where a 9-year-old boy has turned into the prime witness to his father’s murder—said to have been plotted by his own mother with the assistance of her lover and professional killers.
The victim, Veeru alias Man Singh Jatav, was discovered dead at home. His wife Anita initially reported that he had died of a sudden medical condition. However, just 48 hours later, their son’s ghastly deposition unearthed a malevolent reality.
The boy told police he had pretended to sleep but watched everything unfold. He said his mother intentionally left the house gate open that night. Around midnight, five men, including a familiar face he knew as “Kashi Uncle”—later identified as Kashiram Prajapat—entered the house.
As per the boy, Kashiram, who was his mother’s alleged lover, and four other men brutally assaulted his sleeping father. “They punched him, twisted his legs, and smothered him with a pillow. Kashi Uncle pressed the pillow against his face. My mother was witnessing all this. I attempted to go to Papa, but Kashi Uncle grabbed me, threatened me, and asked me not to make a sound,” the boy narrated in his statement.
The gang ran after the murder, leaving Veeru dead. The innocent child did not speak a word until he confessed everything to the authorities, bringing a huge breakthrough to the case.
Alwar Murder Case: Investigation and Motive
The investigation revealed that Anita had been romantically involved with Kashiram, who was a kachori vendor that regularly went to visit her general store. According to police, the two had planned to kill Veeru so that they could be together.
The killing was planned. Anita and Kashiram purportedly employed four contract killers and paid them ₹2 lakh. Anita carried out the plan on June 7 by leaving the gate open. Kashiram brought the killers on a motorcycle, and the attackers assaulted and smothered Veeru who was fast asleep.
Though Anita attempted to deceive family and neighbors by informing them that her husband had died suddenly, the marks on Veeru’s body, including facial injuries, a broken tooth, and marks of suffocation, raised suspicions. A medical report authenticated that it was a case of murder.
Arrests and Current Status
Following a complaint by Veeru, Gabbar Jatav’s brother, police opened a thorough probe. Officials reviewed more than 100 CCTV footages and phone call details to follow leads and links.
Three individuals have been arrested so far, including Anita (the wife), Kashiram (the paramour), and Brijesh Jatav (one of the contract killers). The other three accused are still being searched.
